My First LA show as an Angelino!

I have been participating in the Beverly Hills Art Show since 2006 but this is the first time I get to be a part of it as a resident of this fine Cosmopolitan Metropolis.

This is also my first appearance at a local art show since having moved here 1.5 years ago. I didn’t think it would take this long for me to come out and display my work to the public but this is the way it’s happened! But what a fantastic way to begin this new chapter of local shows.

The Beverly Hills Art Show has always had a special place in my heart because of the beautiful location, as well as the eclectic and sometimes eccentric and/or famous patrons.

The most memorable for me was seeing Michael Jackson make an appearance just a couple of months before he passed away. I remember it so vividly.

I was sitting in my booth at the show and all of a sudden people were whispering; “Michael Jackson is here!”

I spotted a man walking around wearing a hat and veil. He had two children wearing masks with him and a couple of bodyguards.

“Wow! That certainly could be him,” I thought to myself.

I watched this man approach one of the booths and go around back.

Curiosity piqued, I approached the artist and whispered to him; “Dude! Michael Jackson is checking out your art!”

To which he replied; “Yeah right!”

I went back to my booth for a bit then after the man had left I went over to talk to the artist, who said

“He bought like 5 paintings and I am delivering them to Never Land next week!” the artist told me.

This was one of those once in a lifetime experiences and I will never forget it. Later I purchased the Time memorial edition of his life and music, and there's a photo of him and his kids leaving the Beverly Hills Hotel that very day, wearing that very outfit!

It is very exciting to be able to continue bringing my unique brand of artistic styling to this extraordinary collection of fine art, fun music, delicious food, and, of course, the fabulous people! And now, I can represent this show in an even more meaningful way being a local resident.

So come down and enjoy the show, you never know who you might run into! You can be sure that you will have your eyes and hearts dazzled and illuminated by all of the wonderful art.

This is a FREE event that is happening next weekend: Oct 19-20 at the Santa Monica Blvd Park, located in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Mark your calendars to experience 150+ world class artists. It is a great privilege to be able to tell you that I am one of them!

I’ll be at Booth 174, just West of Beverly Dr. along Santa Monica Blvd
